Working Student (m/f/d) – Customer Service & Data Support

ECO3 is a global supplier of prepress systems, software, equipment and services for the printing industry. We support printing companies around the world with innovative solutions, consumables and professional service.

To strengthen our Service organization, we are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) – Customer Service & Data Support who enjoys communicating with people, gathering information and working in a structured way.

In this role, you will support our Service organization by contacting existing and potential customers by telephone and helping us build a better understanding of their installed equipment and service needs.

Your focus is not on selling. Instead, you will collect and update customer information, identify potential service requirements and ensure that relevant opportunities are passed on to the appropriate Service Manager or Service team.

Your Responsibilities

• Contact existing and potential customers by phone in selected markets
• Introduce yourself and ECO3 in a professional and friendly manner
• Collect and verify information about customers and their equipment
• Find out which equipment, CTP systems and related solutions customers currently use
• Ask whether equipment is currently operational, in use or available at the customer's site
• Identify whether customers may have a need for maintenance, servicing or service contracts
• Update and maintain customer and equipment information in our systems
• Document telephone conversations and relevant information in a structured manner
• Recognize potential service opportunities and forward them to the responsible Service Manager or Service team
• Support the Service organization with market and customer information
• Help improve the quality and completeness of our customer database

Your role is to make the initial contact, gather relevant information and identify potential service needs. When there is genuine interest, you will simply connect the customer with the appropriate ECO3 Service contact.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently studying at a university, who enjoys communicating with people by telephone
• Is comfortable speaking with people they have never spoken to before and has a friendly, open and confident communication style
• Is curious and enjoys asking questions and gathering information
• Works accurately, systematically and in a structured way
• Is reliable and able to document information carefully
• Has good listening skills and pays attention to details
• Is comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Has a professional and service-oriented attitude
• Experience in customer service, telemarketing, research or a similar environment is an advantage, but not essential.

Languages: Because you will be communicating with customers in different countries, language skills are particularly important.

You should speak at least two of the following languages:

• German
• English
• Spanish
• French
• Polish
